Coaches:

Shaina Eyre:

Shaina Eyre brings a championship pedigree and an unmatched level of experience to the Park Softball coaching staff. A product of the legendary White Rock Renegades program, Shaina built her foundation competing — and winning — at the highest levels of Canadian softball. Throughout her youth career, she captured multiple provincial championships, Canada Cup titles, and top finishes across elite national tournaments. A fierce competitor on the mound, Shaina represented her team at five Canadian National Championships, earning two gold medals (U15 and U17), along with silver and bronze finishes, solidifying her reputation as one of the top pitchers in the country.

Her talent and drive earned her a spot at Purdue University Fort Wayne, an NCAA Division I program in Indiana, where she excelled for five seasons. During her collegiate career, Shaina established herself as a dominant force, earning Pitcher of the Week honors in both the Summit League and the Horizon League. In her final season, she set a new school record for most pitching appearances and ranked among the program’s top ten all-time in career wins, as well as fifth in career strikeouts — a testament to her consistency, endurance, and competitive edge.

Today, Shaina brings that same elite-level mindset, technical expertise, and passion for the game to her coaching. Her experience competing at the highest levels of Canadian and NCAA softball gives her a unique ability to develop players both mentally and physically — helping them reach their full potential on and off the field.

Katriana Bain:

Katriana Bain brings six years of collegiate softball experience and a deep passion for player development to the Park Softball coaching staff. Her journey through the competitive ranks of college softball has equipped her with a high-level understanding of the game and a strong commitment to helping young athletes excel.

Katriana began her collegiate career at Iowa Western Community College (NJCAA Division I), where she earned First Team All-Region honors and quickly established herself as a key contributor both behind the plate and at first base. She later transferred to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (NCAA Division II), where she continued her success and was named First Team All-Conference, showcasing her consistency, leadership, and competitive edge.

Before her collegiate career, Katriana played competitively with the Lloyd Liners, earning back-to-back provincial gold medals in 2017 and 2018. She later represented Calahoo at the Canadian Women’s Nationals in 2022, where her team captured the gold medal, further cementing her reputation as an elite-level player.

As a coach, Katriana is dedicated to helping athletes develop strong fundamentals, build confidence, and cultivate a lifelong love for the game. Her experience as both a catcher and first baseman gives her a unique perspective on leadership, defense, and game management — tools she now shares with the next generation of Park Softball players.

Mckinlee Kaulbach:

McKinlee Kaulbach brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Park Softball coaching staff. A proud Team Alberta Baseball alumna, McKinlee has achieved numerous milestones throughout her playing career, showcasing her dedication, skill, and commitment to excellence. Her success with Team Alberta ultimately led her to the international stage, where she proudly represented Team Canada at the Women’s Baseball World Cup in 2018 — an accomplishment that highlights her elite competitive background and passion for the game.

Before stepping into coaching, McKinlee competed in collegiate softball with Douglas College in British Columbia (NWAC), where she gained 2 years of valuable experience playing at a high level and refining her understanding of the game from both a strategic and technical perspective.

Over the past several years, McKinlee has made a lasting impact as a coach with the New West Minor Softball Association, leading teams across five seasons. Her coaching approach emphasizes purposeful training — building strong fundamentals, confidence, and game awareness through structured lesson plans, advanced drills, and individualized athlete development.
